soap receiver adapter not working with secured connection but working on http

Hi All,

We are on PI 7.4 single stack. We have an interface where we have to send Idoc from ECC to third party via PI. Third party wants the connection to be a secured VPN connection. So, we have installed their certificate in Trusted CA of our PI system and are using soap receiver adapter in PI with the https url provided by the third party. But when we test it is giving the below error

.SOAP: Error occurred: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: Communication over HTTPS. Unable to create a socketError

When we change the url with http and port 50000 then the message is delivered to them.

But with https and port 443 in the url, it is not working.

Do I need to change anything else in the soap receiver adapter other than the url for secured connection or anywhere else in the ICO?

My soap receiver adapter is configured as below:

    Hi Richa,

This could be a network/firewall issue. Check with your network team if connection is open on the used port.
