delete web service

Hi,

I've created a web service from a function module in SE80 using the wizard.

I now want to delete it. I've deleted the service definition in soamanager.

I removed the entry in SICF.

Now , I still cant recreate the service with the same name... ? The system says the service definition already exists...

When I go in soamanager, I still see the design time object for the service but there are no services or endpoints associated with it...

What am I missing here ?

Thierry

I have this problem previously

use Tranx SE80 and select your function group that contains your web service and delete function group.

Try it works ?

Hi,

is your web service still visible using SE80? If yes try to delete it.

Regards,

Ivan

I actualy deleted it in SE80 by using Repository info system then Enterprise Services then searching for Service Definitions...

From there you can delete it.

Deleting the function module does not do the job.

Thanks.

Hi, I have the similar problem - I can not delete web service definition.

- I have deteleted the service and the endpoint in SOAMANAGER

- deleted the node in SICF

but SOAMANAGER still finds the service under "Search Design Time object for Web Service Configuration" (no icon to delete it...) and in SE80->Repository info system->Enterprise Services I can find the service definition, bud can not delete it - it sais error service does not exist... strange think is that I can for example rename it from there, but not delete

Anyone can help? B.
