Dear All,
i am configuring a new system for cProjects and cFolders, i have maintained URL in SPRO with respect to avaliable ports and domains (checked in SMICM) also tested for services in SICF which are in active state
following is the url i maintained in SPRO
http://sapxxx01.india.xxx.com:8010/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cprojects
when i run cprojects from SE80 i get this url in internet explorer
in both the cases there is no display

issue resolved with host file entries with ip address

when i am giving URL as http://192.168.10.161:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro/dgn/approve_transport
it gives me option to login but after putting user id and password it gives following error
The following error text was processed in the system EC5 : Die URL enthält keine vollständige Domainangabe (192.168.10.161 statt 192.168.10.161.).

I maintained following entry in the host file of APPLICATION SERVER
192.168.10.161 dgn41.ds.local
dgn41 is application server name and ds.local is our domain name.
do i need to restart system or something else.
please advise.

i change the url with following IP it worked, i got the cprojects logon page
http://172.17.126.86:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cprojects
but the i get the following error any idea?

Hi Yasar,
the URL you posted - used when you launch cProjects from SE80 - indicates that the wrong services has been activated in SICF, namely the services for BSPs (that would be cProejcts 3.1 and older). However, in order to start cProjects 4.0 (and newer) the WebDynpro services have to be acrtivated.
The path in SICF is /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/
Here all the relevant services need to be activated.

we have cProjects suite 4.00, as per your suggestion i deactivated the bsp and activated webdynpro in SICF and all the services are running in webdynpro but still there is no display in internet explorer either from SE80 or directly tested the service from SICF, any more suggestions....
