Arabic Language

Hi All ,

I have a concern with Arabic Language.We have the Unicode activated and we are working on ECC 6.0 ..When I am loging in Arabic Langauge then i am able to get the text and field in Arabic but I am not able to get the digits in Arabic Language .

What needs to be done to get the digits also in Arabic like dates and all other digits.The 842887 note says some process which i have configured.

Please let me know about it.

Hi!

May be some language installation is there...am not well sure about this...but swati do let me know too, when you get a solution on this.Meanwhile am also searching for it, if i get something i'll update you.

Hi!

Check whether the profile parameter zcsa/installed_languages is set to ARABIC language in your Instance profile. If it is set to ARABIC then you will be allowed to work with ARABIC only.

Also, make sure settings are changed for language in su01.

Sorry for the late response but solution for this is that might be during installation you have selected the numeric thing as "EN", if possible try to reinstall the system back(if its not a a productive system)....else i have consulted with few of my consultanats ...they say that might be numeric digits are displayed in EN.....Swati try to open a message to SAP if the problem is still there....if you want to reply something open a new thread with the same haeding

Thank You for the response.Reinstalling the system at this stage may not be possible.I have written to SAP and have to wait for an answer for them.
