Launching CRM 2007 from portal BSP iView - No "Back" button

We love the look of CRM 2007 more than we love the look of our portal. Also from the sake of simplicity, we chose not to intrgrate CRM 2007 content into the portal.

However, we wanted to take advantage of the single sign on capability of the portal to reduce the number of logins required to launch SAP applications.

We created a single BSP iView in the portal to lauch CRM 2007. When we launch it this way, the "Back" button disappears. Users are unable to navigate with in CRM 2007. If we launch as a stand alone directly from a URL where the user logs on with a user id and password no problem.

If we change the iView in the portal from a BSP iView to a URL iView everything is fine, except, when we close the session the we loose the SSO2 ticket required for single sign on to other applications. if we try to start other SAP applications from the portal requiring the portal after closing our CRM 2007 session they fail, complaining about a missing SS02 ticket.

Insights are apreciated.
