Multiple Company Codes

Hey everyone, I've got a tricky one for the SAP elites...

We've got 3 servers for 3 different business using the same "Chart of Accounts" and the same "Company Code" , "Controlling Area"....our goal is to unite the three servers into one of the 3 servers (i.e. the base server) .... we intent to transfer all Master and Transactional (open items only) to this server...

However, there are tons of "Master Data" / "Transactional Data" conflicts (i.e. number ranges) amongst the 3 servers which would ultimately effect our reporting .... so we're exploring an option to create 2 new company codes for the 2 servers ( that are essentially treated as 2 different business areas in the base server at the moment ) before transferring the "Master Data" / "Transactional Data"to it.... this would help us to keep this data intact for the 2 different business areas...

we're trying to spot the major implications of the aforementioned solution before we dive into it .... your support and expert advice would be highly appreciated
