CBTA and UI/WEB

Hello colleagues, I've searched for this information, but find now answer. I hope, you will help me.

I'm trying to automate UI-Application in Internet Explorer, and this app after log-in opens in a new tab. And CBTA doesn't see this new tab during recording. Is it possible somehow to record and execute in more then one tab? And if yes, how?

Hello Elena,

CBTA does not recognize the new window opened in the same tab, For this you need to configure in the Internet explorer to open new window as a new window and not within the same same tab.

Check the uri of the new window, you will now notice that the uri will have window=1 for the new window and for the earlier window it will be window=0.

It works post that.

Since this is not a popup, I don't believe so. See if you can change the logon parameters for this app or if this is supported by HP UFT.
