GOOD MORNING everybody,
I have this issue, March 30 is declared as public Holiday only to Mumbai Locations. now I have to change March 30 as Public Holiday. But I cannot go and change this in Public Holiday Calendar because only 1 Calendar is assigned to all the Personal Sub-Areas including GOA, if I change the Calendar all these Sub-areas gets effected and at the same time I cannot create New Holiday Calendar for these sub-areas since this Calendar is using in so many reports.
I have suggested for substituion Infotype and chagned DWS to 0, but it is not accepted by client.
Is there any other solution other than above 2 solutions.

Hi,
System will not accept the same coz, you have not linked ur holiday calendar in the WSR configuration and there is no WSR with the new holiday calendar generated for any period.
Since the basic holiday calendar gruping is not taken care according to the physical locations, the Best way is to use either IT2003 or IT2051 and update the particular holiday as OFF for the respective employees.
Or you have to create a separate holiday calendar for this particular plant and assign it to WSR in your configuration. Generate WSR thru tcode PT01 and update these new shifts to the respective employees in IT0007.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I don't think there is any other way to overwrite planned time than substitutions with the given scenario of your groupings.
Instead of makin DWS hrs as 0, create a hol cal with March 30 as holiday and attach it to the employees in substitutions.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Shreyasi.
