Tracking user who made SRM attribute changes

Hi! In PPOMA_BBP - there are a group of us that maintain SRM user attributes. We also have the automated H/R changes that populate from R/3 to SRM and this we believe sometimes changes user attributes.

So - we are needing to find how to track the user who made changes along with the changes made to SRM user attributes. This is helpful when researching why something has changed and is not working the way it used to work.

I have made SRM user attribute changes in PPOMA_BBP and have saved - and the changes are not logged in tables CDHDR/CDPOS. I could not find in books or on sites - where the changes are stored.

This information would help us alot.

Thanks, Michelle

Thanks for your reply - however I've been looking at various tables/function modules - (HRP1222, HRT1222, T77OMATTR, etc..) and (BBP_USER_GET_ATTRIBUTES, BBP_READ_ATTRIBUTES , etc..) and they show the current user attributes - but they do not show when the users attributes were changed and what was changed.

I need to see when a user's attributes were changed, what are the old/new values, and by whom.

Thanks, Michelle

What changed is not recorded anywhere. However you can check who made the last change to a specific user's (actually to his position) attributes in either HRT1222 or HRP1222. HRV1222A doesn't have the change date and changedby field.

Adding to Robin,

hrp1222 tables gives you the list changed on 01.04.2009 to 21.04.2009 gives who and all changed(User name) the attributes.

and take this reference no EBI---XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX pass into HRT1222 table gives you what attribute was changed.

Hello Michelle,

As written by Robin, in table HRP1222, with fields UNAME and AEDTM, you know who and when last modification was made for an object type.

Unfortunatly, it is not possible to know what was exactly the modification (attribute modified, attribute added, etc.)

Laurent.

Hello Michelle,

Have a look at tables HRT1222 and HRP1222.

Or easiest, check HRV1222A.

Nevertheless, you will see only local attributs for Org. Units or Positions. This means attributs inherited from an object type "O" are not stored.

Laurent.
