Hello,
I develop an easy example with adobe forms. When I test this form, appear a pop-up to select the printer. I select to display the form and then, the system don't do anything. The system is waiting and don't do noting.
I test my conection with ADS, and the result was ok.
Any suggestion???
Thanks.
Hi Toni,
Try reinstalling your Adobe reader.

Sorry, I clicked "Solved Problem" and it's not true.
With the report FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE, if I switch "With Destination Service", the system returns the same error.
I tested the conection with the http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp, and if I put the user ADS_USER, I can't view the XML file. If I put my personal user and password, I can view the xml file.
The next step is Creating or Changing the Destination Service...
Thanks,
Toni.

Hi, Toni!
First, you must not use your own user/password.ADS_USER and ADS_AGENT are special system users under which entire solution operates. If your user works that does not mean, that it is going to work for others. And SAP-system knows nothing about the fact that it should use <your user> and not ADS* users. So please return back to step 2 of Further Checks and check/configure both ADS_* users as required.
I do think than you will achieve better result if thoroughly follow all steps described in Adobe Configuration Guide. 2 or 3 years ago my problems were all the same. Just be very attentive and ask if some steps are not clear.

Just as an info: I had a similar error today.
Reason was:
The user ADS_AGENT was added to the PFCG role SAP_BC_FPADS_ICF, but the role itself was not generated.
So, all I did was generating that role and the report FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE was fine.
I'm also able to see my pdf forms, so everything is fine for me again.
Maybe this can help other guys with similar issues
Regards
Ralf
Thanks again,
The result :
1.FAILED.
2. OK. The result is Información de versión: 800.20080514070334.469612.
3. OK. HTTP/1.1 200 OK
4. FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE OK "9.303 bytes transferidos"
FP_CHECK_HTTP_DATA_TRANSFER FAILED
http://
:
/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp OK. Show a form in XML.Now, I activate the service /default_host/sap/bc/ because was down. The sistem returns the same error.
Thanks a lot.
Toni.

Did you test it in both modes (also with "With Destination Service" switched on)?
Test with it fails often.
> FP_CHECK_HTTP_DATA_TRANSFER FAILED
This service is not really needed for common PDF print forms scenarious.
> http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp OK. Show a form in XML.

"bc" is not the service but a sort of folder for other services, you must ensure to check that "fp" service inside "bc" tree is active.
Seems like your next step is Further Checks 2 and 3 in [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/44/63eefb818c311ee10000000a155369/frameset.htm]

Hi,
I reinstall the acrobat reader. Now, when I test the standard forms, I get an error. This error is :
ADS : com.adobe.ProcessingException: Problem accessing d(200101)
I tested that the service FP_ICF_DATA_<system>, but I not found this service in transaction SICF.
Then, I testes too the report FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE with ADS and get : 9303 bytes.
Another test that I do, is the report FP_CHECK_HTTP_DATA_TRANSFER with ADS, and I get the same error:
ADS : com.adobe.ProcessingException:...
Thanks a lot,
Toni.

Hi!
In the test sequence described in SAP Library [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/43/f31e3082221595e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm] what steps failed?
I suppose that in your case
Step 1. FAILED
Step 2. FAILED
What did you receive from report FP_PDF_TEST_00 (there's an error in SAP Library last two symbols in the name of the report are "0" (zero) and not "O") in SE38 transaction? If test failed it can just hang or respond with an error.
Step 3. FAILED
Step 4. ???
And FP_ICF_DATA_<SID> is not service in SICF but in Visual Administrator (Java application for J2EE, not ABAP). Please, once more carefully run all tests for Step 4. If you solve it and step 3, then all others usually pass too.
Maybe you better go through [Adobe Configuration Guide|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/37/504b8cbc2848a494facfdc09a359b1/frameset.htm] and recheck all steps as if you are manually configuring ADS.

ADS connection test is only part of the story. There are several things you have to check.
Run all test steps as described [here|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30a9630b-4f89-2a10-6fab-e311b3ffd9a6] (pdf, page 11) or [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/43/f0638873b56bede10000000a11466f/frameset.htm] (html at SAP Library)
If problems arise see [this guide|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/97/ccfc3f0ac2c642e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm] for common problems troubleshooting (html at SAP Library)
First ensure, that you can successfully execute and see SAP standard test program (FP_TEST_00).
If you face the same troubles - than the problem is not in your form, but in the ADS and corresponding settings. Only when you have all SAP tests passed then go and try your form.
