CRM Interface issue

Hi Gurus

We have valid active customer account numbers in SAP FI. But these account numbers no longer appearing in CRM

I suspect it could be an interface issues between the CRM and FI

Where do I start to investigate this? Any pointers in right direction will be of assistance
