Hello All,

Is it possible to view the User id details in Portal Activity Report.

We have already created the Portal Activity Report and able to view the number of users logged in.

But we would also like to view the user ids of the people who have logged in.

Is it possible?

If so then please let me know the steps to enable the same.

Thanks in Advance.

Awaiting reply,

Regards,

Hello Michael,

The Portal Activity Report is working fine.

I have to assign this to a end user and so created a role and assigned this iview but i am able to see only the report and not the iview page/properties.

Is it possible to assign this iview to a role and then to a end user?

If not then please suggest steps through which i can assign this to an end user.

Awaiting reply,

Thanks,

I don't quite understand what you mean by you can see the report but not the iView/page properties. I assume you mean that you can see the output of the portal activity report OK, but what properties are you expecting to see?

Michael,

Yes, you are right, i am able to see the output of the iView but i want to see the iView itself in the role.

So that i can change the date of the report/other properities of the report and run and view the details when needed.

Thanks,

Generally only a portal content administrator is allowed to change iViews... You wouldn't normally give this role to an end user...

Yes Michael,

But in our case the HR team wants to run this report to get some details.

So we need to assign this only to the HR team member.

Is there any other way in which this can be done so that we need not give the Admin rights to the user.

Please advise.

Not unless you want to give your HR team content admin access to the production portal! You might want to look at using visual composer to look at the data in which case you could allow for some different selection criteria. For an example, check out https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/VC/AportalactivityreportusingVisualComposer

For viewing User id details, open the iView under Type of the Report select

"Details about the users who logged on"

Show only users belonging to group:

Show only most active users. Number of users to show: (enter the no of users)

From this u we would view the user ids of the people who have logged in.

You will get user ids also.

Check all the alternatives in the portal activity report iview

open the portal activity report as object

and in type of report

check the option 'Details of users who logged on' and give the time period
