error during MIRO fpr number range .

Dear All ,

Pl see the error below during Posting MIRO -->

In company code 1000, the number range 51 is missing for the year 2009

Message no. F5150

Diagnosis

The document type you specified has been allocated to a number range in fiscal year "2009" that has not been created.

Procedure

Check the configuration of the number range for the specified document type. Create this number range if it does not already exist or allocate a valid number range for the document type.

Note

Enter '9999' as the year if you want to use number ranges that are not dependent on a particular fiscal year. If you do this, the number range you allocate is then valid for the current and all following years.

If you want to use number ranges that are dependent on a fiscal year, you should create these manually for the years you require using the Copy by fiscal year function.

i m trying to maintain the same in FBN1 but an info displays as " Enter intevals without overlap "

Hi ,

For this Enter intevals without overlap message. You have to give system default number range in FBN1 .System default in the sense select F4 button in from number range field there system will give the number range.

May be this information is useful to you

If you have any doubt feel free to ask

Hai SAP11,

First u can check the No Ranges in FBN1 T.Code

Here u can check the No Ranges Intervals like 1 to 999999999 this means system ending this no.

thats why system is showing the overleap msg.. here u can maintain 1 to 99999.....

Hi,

You are trying to enter a number range which is already covered with another number range in the year 2009.

Please analyse all the ranges in the FY2009 and make sure that you give a range for 51, which does not fall in any other number range that already exists for 2009.

hello,

Take a MIRO document no. and get the corresponding FI entrty and see the document type.

now you go to transaction code OBA7 and see the document type. ...go the details and see the no .range.

now. you go to FBN1 and maintain the number range interval against the Number range for the present fiscal year.

Hello,

Maintain document number ranges without overlap in FBN1.

Please double check your entries.
