Tax Jurisdiction Code not getting update in customer

Hi All,

we are using Vertex for Tax jurisdiction in US. everything working fine with new customer but we have issue with old customer when tax Tax jurisdiction code got update.

for example when we created customer, we have code 3001308470 after some time Tax jurisdiction code got updated. now if we want to us this customer we have to update the code manually as this old code s not valid any more.

is their any possibility to update Tax jurisdiction code automatically in old customer.

Not sure which Vertex version you are using and what is available in it specifically but, in general, Vertex is called from SAP on demand, there is no interface from Vertex going into SAP and doing updates of the SAP data.

For "automatically" you'd have to check with Vertex if they have an option to call something in SAP after tax jurisdiction has been updated. Otherwise I guess you could run a job in SAP to go over all the existing customers and double-check their jurisdiction against Vertex (there is an FM that gets that info from Vertex).
