Validity Dates

I have a specific query -

1. My system has already gone live with Price lists maintained through VK11

2. It is presently maintained for a year.

3. Now, we land up in problems in March & April when we need to process discounts for march(last year) & april(new year) while updating prices in the sales order. I want both the condition records for discounts to be there in the system through VK12

My questions -

1. Is it possible to add one more line of condition record for the condition type with a future validity date?

I am trying to do that, but in Vk12, system is maintaining the new one only & the old one vanishes off.

2. If I try to change the old one, it says " condition being processed in the current session"

Is it not possible in SAP to maintain both the condition records simultaneously without overlapping dates?
