Rule Based Method - POSC

hi experts,

We use posc for process oriented goods movement.

i have well explored POSC both in Inbound and Outbound process.

But i don't know when we use rule -based method in POSC ?

I just wanted to know in which situation we can use Rule Based method for destination data determination.

I would appreciate if you throw some light on this.

Hi,

Generally speaking it is required for most of the internal processes. System is using application rules for that given process - destination data based on VAS or Counting Work Centre, loading, unloading etc....

The flag does not have any impact on picking or putaway steps or steps without internal process having assigned and is not needed.
