User used in SLDAPICUST should not have initial password

If you get any error in SLDCHECK you should always look at SLD administration log

Hi Ajai,

I think it has problem with the role of user assigned in the tcode SLDAPICUST, so try to change this user to J2EE_ADMIN for testing if it works.

Hope this help.

Hi Ajai,

Please check below items

1. Check SAPSLDAPI rfc is working fine.

2. Then test SAPAPICUST if these 2 are working fine.

3. Then perform RZ70 once again (ensure to remove the exiting entries that are already existing in the SLD).

4. then perform the SLDCHECK

Please let me know if you still have issue.

And if this helps provide POINTS.

Thanks

Hi Ajay,

By calling the business function - Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS

RFC destination SAPSLDAPI gets all the business systems, which are maintained in the SLD, by calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS

so please check 'SAPSLDAPI' rfc is working correctly or not.

provide points if this help to resolve the issue.

Thanks

Error is related to communication type

if you can debug an ABAP code go to report LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS (se37) and trace out the code will get you know where exactly error occured

Hi Ajai

You are getting the error after hitting t-code SLDCHECK as connection to SLD does not work.

-->Go to T-code SLDAPICUST

-->Put it in change mode

-->Give the HOSTNAME = PI system hostname

-->Port No = PI system port number

-->Now check ur SLDCHECK t-code even though u face the error(Then follow next steps pls) in maintain the user name as:

From PI home page-->click on Administartion

--->click on Exchange profile

--->under application systems node we have:

com.sap.aii.applicationsystem.serviceyser.name

click on this on left side u get the user name maintain this username in SLDAPICUST t-code.

still if u face the error let me know.

thanks.

Hi Ajai

You are not getting the BUSINESS SYSTEMS From SLD in to your R/3 system after executing the SLDCHECK t-code rite............

--> check RFC destination in R/3 system of TYPE T for SAPSLDAPI,Whether it is correct or not.

--> If not Check with the TARGET HOST name and GATEWAY(sapgw+PI system number) which you gad given.

--> It mst be the details of PI system

-->If it throws an error ur PROGRAM ID which u maintain in SAPSLDAPI is not register in Java Stack.

Pls check the above let me know.

And also dont forgot to maintain the details of PI host name and Port in SLDAPICUST.(the host name and port which u use to open the PI home page)

Thanks.

I'm getting the same issue. When I try running SLDCHECK from my ECC system, it's actually locking the IDs that is configured in SLDAPICUST. I know this password is correct, I can login directly to the SLD to test ID and password. It seems if something is wrong with SLDCHECK and locking the ID?????

Hi Dawn,

-->Actually What error you are getting?can u pls send the error if possible.

-->And you are saying your ID's which you maintained in SLDAPICUST is Locked, so once check in SM12 T-code and unlock the username.

Thanks

Hi,

Check Integration server business system with pipeline url is correctly configured in SLD.

Check SXMB_ADM (integration engine configuration).Pipeline and Role is maintained correctly.

If is there then go to SE37. Run the function module LCR_CLEAR_CACHE. After that run the

sldcheck.

Hi Ajai

-->Check the SAPSLDAPI RFC destination in R/3 whether the Radio Button REGISTERED SERVER PROGRAM is selected or not.If not select that and try.

Thanks

Hi Ajay,

For SLD:

1) Check SLDAPICUST Tcode: specify either hostname(SMICM-->fully qualified hostname) port:5<instance no>00 and user. Try to login to SLD with same user.. Usually SLDDSUSER.

2) In Visual Admin: JCo RFC Dest, SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC..user shd b SAPJSF. Also check for hostname of PI server and Gateway.

3) In SM59, TCP/IP u can find the above two RFC destinations, Check for registered server program same as Visual Admin.

4) in RZ70, trigger the data and check whether RFC destinations are working properly.

If everythin is fine SLDCHECK also should be fine,. Stil u gettin error means try to change all the specified steps hostname to IP address.

Please revert back in case it works fine.

Thanks.

Vineetha.

Hi Ajai

Still Same Problem.

For Cache Error follow the below steps.

-->In ID fro MENU->TOOLS->Click on Cache Notifications ans see the status if the cache is not updated.

then goto T-code SXI_CACHE and do the Full cache and Delta cache refresh.

-->Also check the RFC destination of type H in your PI system INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI is working or not of not check the path prefix and your technical settings and logon security.

>Also do the cache refresh from PI home page ADMINISTRATION>CACHE OVERVIEW ,Do the cache refresh for IR ,ID and RWB.

Hi,

Check the Program Id provided in Registered Server Program option of Type T connection created with name SAPSLDAPI. This program ID should match the program id maintained in the JAVA Stack of PI.

Also make sure to execute transaction SLDAPICUST to maintain the SLD access data.

Hope this helps.
