How to automatically create Warehouse Product Master in embedded EWM

We are on S4 HANA 1709 with embedded EWM.

Our client expects hundreds of materials to be created on a weekly basis. We are maintaining only one field in

Control Indicator for Process Type Determination

Is the any way where Warehouse Product master is automatically created once material master is created in S4?

Hi,

I would still think the easiest way to create a warehouse product in S/4HANA embedded EWM is to use slotting. It just does not work automatically (so not as you requested) and slotting does not fill the Control Indicator for Process Type Determination.

But it can create the warehouse product and afterwards you can do a mass change (in different ways, also like Gergely described).

Out of curiosity: how does your customer create hundreds of materials every week?

Client uses their legacy system generate these new materials which are then sent to MDM and then to S4. Don't ask me why they do it that way, but its just a decision they have taken to have their source legacy system create these materials.

for creating the warehouse product in S/4Hana embedded EWM, there is a two step maintenance required.

To process larger amount of products in batch there are two ways already developed.
