I am encountered an issue on the db partition in Infocube. I have an infocube where the db partitioning by Fiscal Year/ Period and Fiscal Year Variant was hard code into V6. This InfoCube is a standard InfoCube and an existing object when the system was migrated to the BW7.5 where DB partioning feature was disable. Our changes is to remove constant value 6 in the db partition as the new changes will have transaction data which containing new fiscal year variant, K4. if we don;t remove the V6, then the load data will failed.
We already tried 2 approaches so far which are:
a.) Drop the infocube content , the remove the V6 in the table, RSDICHAPRO and activate back the InfoCube
b.) Perform the HANA Optimized conversion to convert the Standarf InfoCube to HANA optimized InfoCube. Delete the locked entry in table-RSMIGROBJ , the remove the V6 in the table, RSDICHAPRO and activate back the InfoCube.
Do we have any others alternatives where we can remove the V6 constant value without dropping the InfoCube content ?
