Is EPM (Enterprise Procurement Model) available in BW/4HANA?

Hi,

Is EPM (Enterprise Procurement Model) available in BW/4HANA?

My suspicious is that it is not there, as BW/4HANA is decoupled from NetWeaver,

and EPM is delivered within NW (https://www.sap.com/documents/2012/09/2a404253-5b7c-0010-82c7-eda71af511fa.html).

I would like to confirm the above.

The goal is to get some test data & flows in the system. Ideas?

Hi Bartosz,

Yes, EPM is available in BW/4HANA and it works.

My problem ist the BW business content. BW/4HANA does not have the myself BW source system anymore, i.e. if your BW system is BW1, then you can have a source system BW1, type BW.

To activate the datasources you have to assign a source system. Normally, this would be the myself BW.

Frankly, I do not know how to solve this problem.

Hi Martin,

as SAPI connections are not longer supported within BW/4 you should use an ODP based connection. Just create an ODP myself connection on your BW/4 System.
