partner determination

Hi All,

I have a requirement to make one of my partner function SB as mandatory in sales order.

This partner function is maintained manually in sales order and does not flow from customer master.

My requrement is , whenever a user tries to save the order without maintaining this partner function , order should not be saved and should be shown as incomplete.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Use transaction code VOPA, select Sales document header. Go to partner procedures. Select the partner procedure u r using for your document( say TA for standard order). then make ur parner function as mendatory by checking the mendatory dialog box in the following screen.

Yes, You can achive this if you can tick the mandatory indicator in partner determination procedure.

Hi,

You need to mark this partner function as mandatory in customizing of partner determination procedure of sales order.

IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Partner Determination -> Set Up Partner Determination -> Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header, then choose the partner determination procedure you have assigned to your order type and after choosing Partner Functions in Procedure node you will see the list of partners in the order. You need to mark checkbox Mandatory for the partner function SB.
