Hi All,
I have configured CTS + in our PI landscape of XID , XIQ and XIP .
When I import ID IR objects into XIQ , XIP , I can find IR objects imported successfully . BUt for ID objects it is imported but not activated.
I need to log into XIQ system and actiavte the ID objects for it to appear .
Please advice if this manual activation part of ID objects can be done automatically as part of import .
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Suman
So far have not found any parameter to do this.
Always manual activation is requrired.

Hi,
I would expect it to be automatically actiavted in line with ABAP objects.
When we import any TR containing ABAP objects , the objects get automatically actiavted in target systems .
Hence it should also happen for both IR and ID objects .
Thanks,
Suman

Hi!
I think this is for security reasons. Change lists assure that an explicit release is performed before a new/changed PI scenario becomes active and productive.
Additionally (after having released the change list) you also have to adjust some objects in the target system before they can be used (e.gfor new. RFC Receiver Channcels the user credentials need to be maintained manually).
But this behaviour is not specific to CTS. Using Export/Import instead of CTS also just creates a change list in the target system Int. Dir. which has to be released manually ...
On the other hand your question is good and I would also be interested in an answer to it.
Regards,
Volker
