0hr_pa_bn_1 is not extracting plan type as VLTD for employee benefit status turn from FULL to PART

Hi All,

Struggling with strange behavior of 0hr_pa_bn_1 which is:

for employees with the value changed from "PART" to “FULL” in field “Benefit Second Program Grouping” (BSTAT) from table PA0171, BW does get the corresponding “VLTD” entries of field Benefit Plan Type (PLTYP) from table PA0168

However, when the value is changed from "FULL" to “PART” in PA0171-BSTAT, the corresponding VLTD values from PA0168-PLTYP do not flow into BW.

Please help me understand how does the data is fetched from standard function module

HR_BW_EXTRACT_IS_BENPLAN if my understanding is wrong.

Hi Melinda,

Thanks for your answer. Yesterday I debugged the FM exhaustively and came to know that plan type 'VLTD' is not meant for Part time employees. It is only for Full time ones, that is why it was not showing for few of employees (since they were part time).

To get the answer I had to go through three table i.e. PA0171, PA0168 and T5UBU.
