Hi ,

I want to maintain the Rules in PFAC for Solution Manager Service Desk - By Component with Responsibe Support Team - For SD - SD , For MM - MM & For FI - FI Components are known thing . But coming over to Abap & Basis - if i check the Component ids for it are the same - BC . Then how the System will recognise and Assign to the Concerned Team member if the same component id is same for Both Components.

Please respond with your valuable suggestions.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Amrita

the component table is 4 levels deep. Just use the level you need

the SAP table is DSWP_CSNCOMP

example for BC at level 2

BC-AC
BC-BMT
BC-BSP
BC-BW
BC-CCM
BC-CCP
BC-CFG
BC-CI

BC-CUS
BC-DB
BC-DOC
BC-DWB
BC-ECM
BC-EHP
BC-EIM
BC-ESI
BC-FES
BC-GP
BC-HLP
BC-I18
BC-IDM
BC-ILM
BC-INS
BC-JAS
BC-JVM
BC-MID
BC-MOB
BC-MUS
BC-NET
BC-NWA
BC-OP
BC-PIN-PCD
BC-SA
BC-SEC
BC-SRV

Hi Xavier ,

Thanks for your response. I have checked out in Abap related Transactions almost its Starts with BC-D*** and Basis related as BC-S*** , Actually i have different Agents for Basis & Abap - Depending upon this component Level assignemnt it will be determining Support team.

My doubt - Will the system recognises if i maintain BC-D*** for Abap & BC general for Basis ? If the system is really going to cross check by IInd Level and subsequent levels. Does it fulfill my requirment.

Please provide your valueable inputs

Regards,

Amrita.

hello Amrita,

When you use the transaction PFAC_RESPO (rule 13200137) to define which team is responsible for which component you can work with wild-char.

That means this BC-D* and BC_S* will indeed meet your requirement

The component field is available in the container. This is a 20 characters fields that accept wild char. The notion of level is not technically set-up there

I am sure this will work

feel free to ask

hi,

with transaction PFAC_RESPO you should have it.

If you have an error you can select first in transaction PFAC with rule category R and than come back in PFAC_RESPO.

I should work.

Hi Sergio ,

Go to T-code - PFAC - Check with F4 options or directly use by typing manually - 13200137 and check it out. By default in every system this rule should be there.
