For XS Classic active objects you find the information in the XML representation of the calc. view. It is stored in column CDATA, table _SYS_REPO.ACTIVE_OBJECT.

A calculated column is identified by XML element"calculatedViewAttribute". Within that you find a "formula" element which contains the expression/formula.

Hi Florian,

Sorry for the delay reply.....In that column CDATA, i can see only partial XML....unable to see complete xml data.

How to see complete xml in that column and how to read that data using hana sql?

Thanks

I assume you are selecting the data using a SQL console in HANA studio. There by default the "LOB column zoom" is not enabled by default. You can enable it in the Preferences -> SAP HANA -> Runtime -> Result -> Enable zoom of LOB columns. With that you can display the whole value of the column by making a double click on it in the result.

Reading with "HANA SQL" is not different than another selects. I think the question is more how you interpret it. For that you can use any XML parser available in your consuming environment. If you are on HANA 2.0 you maybe can use the new introduced SQL functions for XML handling (XMLEXTRACT, XMLEXTRACTVALUE).
