Dear experts,

We are using Solution Manager 7.2 SPS0. In Solution Documentation in SolDoc transactions I add some document with right click New->Documentation->Document(Upload).
Document is attached and can be found in list, but when i try to open (display) system opens blank page (about:blank) in new browser session.
Could you help me how to solve this?

SAP note 2482628 not helped

Check this note and make sure that in the section it says to fill "anonymous" logon data you should input the CONTENTSERV user.

1940071 - Logon error appears when trying to open an attachment

Best regards,

Will

Hi,

You mentioned SP0, I assume that's a mistake?

In case you performed Content Activation, check whether you manage to open a document in SOLAR01.

Also, check whether this behaviour is consistent between IE and Chrome.

Finally, make sure the HTTP/HTTPS settings are consistent between SM and SolDoc.

Thanks for your reply. Content Actication is not done only after the upgrade from the version of SAP Solution Manager 7.1? We did a new installation of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and I did not Content Activation.

For a new installation, content activation is not required.

Can you paste 2 screenshots?

1. Whole page screenshot of where you have attached the document.

2. Whole page screenshot of where you are checking it and what is displayed.

Hi Daniil Kim,

Please check the below,

1. Make sure to check if there are any pop-ups asking you to open or save the document - you might miss it as sometimes these pop-ups hide behind the browser.

2. Make sure you have implemented the latest version of central note and ABAP correction note for the SPS 7.

3. If you have any other functionality in place, like ITSM or CHARM, try attaching a document to them in Attachments block and accessing it.

Let me know your feedback. Also make sure the user maintained in the content server service is not locked, has validity, correct password is maintained in the service and the user type is service and not system or dialog.
