How to make settings to display doc type(NB, etc.) of PO along with description.
currently it is showing only description.
Do ALT + F12 and select Options -> go to Experts->Check the box 'Show key in drowpdown list and sort item by list.

For new version of GUI go the customize local layout (alt+F12) then for options click on interaction Design then select Visualization 1 then go for control and select check box (show keys within drop-down list). You get the documents type name like NB and all.

Go to Create/Change/Display PO click on Personal settings ->Basic settings at the bottom check the box "Display Key".

In ECC 6.0 click ALT+F12 (Customize local layout), -> Options -> Interaction Design -> Visualisation 1 -> Controls -> Select the "Show keys within Dropdown".

For getting Document type
Select customization of local layout (Alt+F12) at header near to Help button , then select options then select EXPERT tab in that
Select check boxes Show keys in all drop down list and Sort items by key then press apply button.
Once you do apove settings Go again ME23N then you can see document types.

In SAP Easy access screen ,In the menu basr go to the last button customising of local layout ,click on that button,go to options.go to expert tab,tick the check box shows keys in all dropdown list and then click on apply and ok
