First the project T-20090's project profile is below:

Activation Type: 1 (1 = Automatic activation during budget allocation )

Overall: X

Releases: X

First, the user use CJ30 distribute the budget of the project T-20090. (this time the user haven't used CJ32 distribute the budget.)

this time the cost of T-20090 will occur. and the cost can exceed the budget.

the question:

in this case, when user only use CJ30 enter the budget, how to customize to control the budget.

Please explain me all the steps to be required.

Hi Tense,

You can do onething...activate the avail control manually by CJBV after doing cj30...this way it will check the budget even if u dont do cj32.

Hi Tense,

You have to go for ovarall budgeting and Budget Release as per your configuration.

So system will activate availability control once you budget the project in CJ30.If you want to add more budget you can either use CJ30 or you can supplement the budget.

Set the tolerance limits also so system can trigger various actions like warning,an email to project manager once these tolerance limits are reached.
