Approver not able to view the PO..

Hi All,

We have a PO with the following release codes.

Release codes : S1 S2 T2

But now S1 approval & T2 approval has been completed. (without S2 approval T2 approval happened). The PO is still under Blocked status.

The S2 approval can't able to view the PO.

So please help me to resolve the issue. How S2 approver can approve the PO or how the PO can be released from Block.

Hi Chandru,

Just unrelease the PO at T2 level and release at level S2 and then again release with T2. Dont unrelease at S1 level.

Hi,

The Release is not completed as you have bypass the second release hierarchy.To relsove your Issue temporarly then please unrelease the PO at T2 level & relase it at S2 level then release at T2 level.

You check your release strategy configuration,it should not alllow to release the PO unless S2 has release it.Check it.

Check the release strategy configuration - prerequisites - release order - it should S1, S2, T2 (tick the check boxes appropriately). Lower half (triangle) should be marked.

And check the release status for release strategy - after final release by T2 -Released indicator should be marked here.

For S1 and S2 it should be blocked and for T2 it should be released indicator here.

Are you using work flow? If yes then check the release code and group assigned to user who is authorized for S2 (in PFCG with help of basis consultant). Then S2 can release the PO in his inbox for releasing.
