Hello for the first time after installation of BI system, CO-PA data and order data have to be uploaded in BI, and daily loading has to be planned. Can you help me to know which tables in source system can be concerning. It's about turnover and, profit and lost reports.

2. What are the main steps that can be followed to create generic data source or use content source after knowing which characteristics or value fields are concerning in profit analysis.

Thank you for helping

Armando

Hello Bruno,

You can create the datasource to load the data from R/3 to BW using tcode KEB0...select the operating concern...select cost based or account based ...select all the fields that you need and map them in BW...

The tables I think you need to look are CE1XXXX, CE2XXXX, CE3XXXX, CE4XXXX...where XXXX -- stands for the operating concern.

Hope it helps

Hello KK,

and thank for helping. The TC do not exist in the database. It is looking like the CO-PA DSources are not activated in source system or what can be the reason that it cannot be found.

And about the "XXXX "-- operating concern, what does it means really...

Appreciate for any help.

Thanks

Hi

when you create the data source for COPA, you must select the Operating Concern name. that means all your COPA transaction will be done with Operating Concern. its all depends one client may use 1 or more than that based on the requirement.
