Upgrade on Unix Cluster

I have completed Oracle/SAP Upgrade on Veritas cluster Unix environment on Node A.

Now after starting the Cluster. I am unable to login to SAP Application.

I am mentioning the approch I followed at High Level:

1) Switching off Node B.

2) Renamed SAP profiles to point to host of Node A

3) Upgrade Oracle 9x to 10g - completed

4) Upgrade SAP CRM 4 to SAP CRM 5 - completed

5) Start/Stop of the DB and SAP works fine on Node A

6) Renamed all SAP profiles and hostnames in the profiles back to Cluster Hostname.

7) DB is up and running but not SAP Application is not coming up

Do you think I missed out anything ? Pls advice.

Hi Jacob,

Did you try to start the SAP instance in cluster environment. What is R3trans -d log (trans.log) saying?

The command for starting the SAP instance in package is

startsap all DVEBMGS<insyance no.> <package name>

Please try with above command and let me know.
