open link from transaction launcher in a new tab

I have a logical link which is connected to a url launch transaction. I want to open it in a new tab, while keeping the current work area, but I've managed to do so only in a new window.

I've searched the web but couldn't find a helpful solution

Hi,

Can you please try if following can help.

1. Set the transaction launcher to be opened in new window via T-code: crmc_ui_ACTIONWZ.

2. Do the IE settings as below.

=> IE=> Tools=>internet options => tab: general => tab

=> set all related settigns to open new window on new tab.
