DoorDelivery - Cash collected by Driver

Former Member

Hi

This is one requirement from my client. Sales order is created for the customers . Delivery is created based on route assigned to the customer (i,e delivery split by route ). A driver who is also the employee of my client will deliver the goods to the customer of the same route and collects the cash . Now the driver is responsible for that cash collected and any short of cash will be deducted from the drivers salary. How can the scenario be captured in Sales cycle? Should i capture the driver as a payer and assign it to the customer master of same route?

Also plse tell me which are the values copied to billing document from delivery document?

Thanks in advance

Anis

Hi Anis

As per your requirement , you need to assign a partner function sales employee at delivery level. And you need to create a Cash sale order and in the cash sales order you need to assign a partner function sales employee in the Cash sale order.and at delivery level also.So generally in cash sales , when the stock is delivered on the same day only billing will happen and that sales employee will collect the amount from the customer also

Hi,

as suggested in above thread, check into DSD, in DSD there is possibilities of posting differences of quantities and cash directly to the drivers account. documents can be posted automatically.

but this will be a lot of configuration and also you will have to activate DSD.

but nevertheless will fullfill your requirment.

Did you check the LE-DSD Direct Store Delivery Module?
