Hello! I have a simple scenario with FTP sender CC. I have no errors in RWB for my communication channel. In my local FTP (GuildFTP) I see that PI user is currently connected to FTP, the path is right.

But my scenario doesn't works.

ps If I change paratmeters in this cc to simple File adpter, that takes a file on local folder - it works Ok.

What should I do in sm38 ?

About another tips:

1) In GuildFTP I have simple paths to folder: /xi and /xi/arc for archive. Is it right syntax ? For files I have mask *.xml

2) I have all rights for this folder in GuildFTP

3) I can connect to this folder from my computer with user name I specified in XI and I can write and change file, create folders.

4) In status window of GuildFTP I see, that XI is connected to the folder /xi and state is Idle.

5) I haven't got any errors in communication server.

Please help me with my problem.

Hi,

Please ensure:

You are following the same....

Even though in your local machine you have the folder name as ftproot and the path say C:\ftproot, in your file adapter you will refer the same as / . So if you have created subfolders like input and output, in the adapter configuration it would be refered to as /input or /output and not C:\ftproot\input or C:\ftproot\output.

Regards,

Sunil.

Andrey,

Check whether you have given the right file name and the directory where it should be picked from. as Prema suggested make sure that you have read, write and execute access to the directory where you are picking the file from. let us know how we are doing.

andrey, check in SM58, that tells you, if you have permission problem..

also in GuildFTP right click on your file and give write permission to Group and Public.. this should work fine...

Or use PUTTY for giving permissions to the file
