Configurations For Enterprise Service...

Hi all,

I have learnt how to consume an Enterprise Service or a Web Service from the ABAP Workbench, there is a wizard that needs to be run in order to generate a proxy class. The utility of a proxy class is to care of calling the services and pushing and pulling the right information to and from the enterprise service on the ES workplace. As ABAP programmers, we do not have to take care of that functionality ourselves - instead, we use the proxy class to handle this task. Now the proxy class generated from the WSDL, results in creation of a number of methods & inbound/outbound structures. All we need to do is to create an instance of the proxy class & to trigger the correct method of the proxy class in order to communicate with the Enterprise Service/Web Service.

My query is... Does anyone have any knowledge on all the necessary Port Configurations and other related Configurations that need to be maintained for this ES landscape.

Can anyone provide me any document on this topic..

I think we need to maintain an RFC destination for the same & use the transaction code LPCONFIG to do necessary configurations. Can anyone provide me detail knowledge on this topic...
