Error while creating Contract

Hi All,

While creating Contract through transaction ME31K,I am getting the following Error Message:

"Excise Tax indicator not maintained for 4J_1IEICOVE-please maintain".

Excise Master is maintained correct .

I am unable to understand what is 4J_1IEICOVE and when excise rates are maintained correct,why is this message getting displayed?

Kindly advise.

Hello Payal

It seems to be because of the in J1ID non maintenance of Excise Indicator Plant and Excise Indicator Vendor and in Excise details vendor you have not assigned Escise indicator.
