Hi Experts,
I have a Client who want to use the email functionality from inside SBO.
The SBO Mailer Setup is the following:
SMPT Server: mail.nameofcompany.com
Authentication: No Authentication
Test connection = successfull
When I want to send a email from inside SBO (login via remote connection) and I go and look at the Event Viewer I get the following message:
The description for Event ID ( 62 ) in Source ( SBOMail ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Failed to send the mail message error code: -49.
When the users try this they get the same message in the Event viewer, they connect via Terminal Services.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Marli

We had the same problem, we had uninstall the services and reinstall it, that fixed it.

If you go to
Start>All Programs>Sap Business One>Server Tools>Service Manager
The above is the Service Manager that runs on the server and is the little Blue Ball Icon by the Clock, right hand bottom of screen.
Make sure you have someone there who knows their way around installing the Service Manager.
When no one is on the server and after appropriate backups you can go to the control panel
>Add Remove Programs
Then remove the SAP server tools.
Then reinstall the server tools.
