SAP EP 7.5 upgrade from SP9 to SP11

Hi Experts,

We are planning to upgrade portal 7.5 from SP 9 to SP 11.

Please let me know the impact and things that need to be considered during pre and post upgrade activity.

hi Vamshi,

i did recently upgrade from NW 750 SP9 to SP12, i did nt see much difference. the only thing i did see was rendering issue.

but few setting adjusted in iVews and it was fine.

but make use SAP NWA tool to calculate any dependency patches calculation.

To explain to your query , as you mentioned you are planning to upgrade SP level, actually whenever there is Newear release then its called as Upgrade Example : 7.X to 7.Y , here as you moving from one Support Package Stack to another Support Package Stack level this is called Update , you can check this link

It is recommended to be latest patch Level and take care of dependencies of the components.
