HI,

Please run the SIA under the Domain administrator account so that it can access the database

The SIA does not need to be run under a domain administrator account to access the database (most AD admins would have a fit if it did)

It needs simply local system (if using SQL authentication and no kerberos AD authentication) or an AD account with DBO permission(if using an AD account in SQL) and local Admin rights (for simplicity) in theory we could locate the specific permissions and policy to run without even that.

Regards,

Tim

The best practice is to run under local account that is part of local administrators group and has network access for communication to DB's and other network resources.

In simple deployments even simple "Local System" is enough.

This indicates that most likely account you're running your SIA under has a bad password.

Look in logging directory for log files, they should have a more detailed error message, also check even viewer for any related messages.
