capacity levelling

Dear experts

I am working on the capacity planning scenario in discrete industry.

In my scenario i m doing capacity levelling, so ten orders i have despatched on one work center.

Suppose i change start time of 2nd one, will it change other orders' start & finish time?

Please guide me in this aspect

Hi,

When you change the start time of the second order and dispatch, only the second production order is changed. This will not get updated on the remaining orders, unless you dispatch the other Production orders by drag and drop as per your requirement.

Thanks for quick reply. Actually i am doing levelling for planned orders only after MRP run.

Then suppose after despatchimg I am changing 2nd plannned order. Then what will happen ?

will it affect other planned orders on same work center?

Hi,

No, this change in one order will not be reflected in the remaining orders.

For better clarification, check up the same in your development server.
