Grouping of Outbound deliveries

Dear Experts -

Right now I have two system as below,

1.ECC6.0

2.Thridparty (SAP system used only for shipping activities)

Existing Scenario:

Presently group of deliveries are created in Tranasction VL10A with few enhancements. Grouping of delvieries are created in Transaction VL10A based on the sale order reference.

To-Be:

Going forward business requirement is to create a group of deliveires in Thridparty. Outbound deliveries are pushed from ECC to Thridparty and grouping of deliveires need to created.

Summary of my requirement as follows,

In Thridparty I need to create the group of deliveries w r to Outbound delvery. Please suggest me how to map this requirement in my third party system.

Options tried by me in Thrid party system are as below,

VG01 - Failed because it has only sale order reference

VL06P - Failed because it has sale order and shipping point reference.

Please check my requirement above and suggest the best way to create a grouping of deliveries in my third party system.

Based on your suggestion I can start working on POC.

I think you should challenge that, business is asking for something that can be achieved by using SAP Shipments. Why would they oppose? What are they concerns? What disadvantages do they see?

Hello Kumar,

Did you consider to use Shipments? You could assign all the deliveries to a single shipment (VT01N)

I did check with business they are not considering the shipments. Please sugget me if you have any alternate option.

Please suggest me how to map this requirement in my third party system. 

Members here can only assist if at all you have any requirements / issues in SAP. For third party tools, you need to check with that respective vendor team. From SAP point of view, if you have any constraints, please let me know.

I mentioned clearly in my initial thread that third party system is nothing but an another system used for shipping activities.
