Hi,

Contracts can be transfer between the systems SRM to ECC using ALE/IDOC configurations

with the help of BLAREL Message type.

Hope that clarified..

Thanks

Hi,

The transfer of Contract happens after the Release and Approval of the contract. The main Function Module that is called for this transfer is BBP_PD_CTR_TRANSFER.

Of course the relevent scenario (Extended Classic, Classic) needs to have been set up. With the R/3 system already connected to the SRM system. You can check this in SM59 in SRM.

The contract is sent over using IDOC technology. This is sent across and creats the contract in R/3. Some important places to check if the contract has some issues during transfer are RZ20 in SRM. In R/3 you can check the tables BBP_CTR_IDOCREF & BBP_CTR_ITEM_MAP. Here you can check the IDOC and make sure all the information is contained here. If the IDOC goes across then the contract will be created without any issues in R/3.

I hope this helps,

Kind Regards,

Lisa

Hi,

I have a similar issue, I created BLAREL message type and distributed the model and created and external number range in ECC to match with SRM, then created a contract but I can't see any IDOC's generated in SRM for the contract created. Is there any other setting missing here. Please share your input.

Thanks,

CS

Hi CS,

I am still investigating this problem. I did not try. Any way, we can share our progress here.

Hi Jock,

Are you trying to transfer local SRM contract to ECC system?.

GOA can distribute to backend system as a process contracts and scheduling agreement right?

local process contract only for SRM system right ? you can not push local contract to backend .

However you can bring backend ECC contract to SRM .

what is your business requirement ? which version are you working on?

since SRM2007 purhase contracts and GOA 's are merged to form a single central contract which is available for sourcing localy in srm and can also be distributed to different backend ECC systems.

Namaste Muthu,

I have a similar question regarding Contract-Catalog transfer.

We are on SRM 5.0 (with XI 3.0), classic scenario.

I would like to know if there is an option to transfer SAP Outline Agreements and upload them as Catalog into SRM.

If yes, do you know which is the FM or program responsible for this?

What it takes to do such transfer in the system, please?

THNX a lot
