Hello All,
I have a question regarding the Scheduling type in OPU3.
What is the difference between Backwards and Backwards in time?
Thanks in advance
George
Hi George,
Both the scheduling types are similar with only one difference is in scheduling type 6- Backwards in time, when you enter the basic dates in production or process order, you can enter the time too for percise scheduling.
The path for specifying the scheduling types is SPRO---- IMG---- Production---Shop floor control-- Operations--- Scheduling-- Specify scheduling types. T code is OPJN.
Hope this helps you

Hi George,
It's nice to ask qns in forums & get feedback from forum members, but i notice that you have marked all your queries as answered, but not acknowledge anyone's inputs or awarded them points.
Don't you think its a matter of courtesy to acknowledge the inputs?
Also would like to request all people who post questions in this forum, to acknowledge & award points to the contributors.
Hope the moderators take note & put in place some checks as there are quite many of such people.
Regards,
Vivek
