Hi experts,

I have a query and is as follows

Case-1 :

I have created PO for material "ABC" , with account assignment category "K". 
Then created GR with mvt type 103 & then released with Mvt Type 105.

But in MB5B report, this Material Document(Mvt Type-105) is not shown.

Case-2 :

Then again created PO for material "ABC" , without any account assignment category.
Then created GR with mvt type 103 & then released with Mvt Type 105.

Now, in MB5B report, this Material Document(Mvt Type-105) is shown.

I would like to know , why I am not able to see Material Document in Case-1.

hi,

In case-1 :

You are doing with account assignment "k" (cost center). So, while doing GR with movement type 103 the material is going to GR blocked stock. So you can able to see this document in MB5B. Once you release this GR blocked stock, it goes to that particular cost center not to the stock account. So you couldn't able to view the material document.

In case-2:

You are doing without account assignment. So,after doing GRN, it goes to stock account. So you can able to view this material document.

The material which goes to stock account after GRN can be viewed in MMBE and the material document can be viewed in MB5B.

The material which does not goes to stock account after GRN cannot be viewed in MMBE and the material document cannot be viewed in MB5B.

Hi,

MB5B is for seeing the stock on posting date.

In case 1 you are doing a GR WRT cost center(account assignment category K).it is not moved to stock.therefore u r not getting in MB5B.

In Case 2,you are doing GR to unrestricted stock,there u r getting in MB5B report.

Hi rahul,

in first case u used the account assignment catagory K.

that means the matl goes to that particular account not for stock.

But in second case u havent used acc ass cat. so it went to stock.

MB5B shows only stock data.
