opening the URL in same window for Link to URL UI element in Webdynpro

Hi All

we are facing an issue with Link to URL UI element in webdynpro for Java.

when we click on URL in the Link to URL UI element then URL is getting opend in the new window, but we have requirement the URL to be opend in the same window at runtime in webdynpro.

Any pointers on this would be a great help.

I have got the solution from my Trainer. Try this

change the property "target" as " _self ".

Thanks for your reply

currently we are using CE 7.1 sp5 for NWDS.

The _self option has been removed in CE 7.1.

You will have to use exit plugs to redirect it to the url.

actually our requirement is we have one Link to Action UI element which was inserted as one column in table UI element .

now our requirement is when we click on the Link to Action UI element then content has to be opened in the same window not in the new window.

can you please let us know briefly??

I guess you can use Exit Plugs and redirect it the same url .

and how large is the content that has to display is the same window.
