NWDS 7.1.1 passing values from WD to VC

Dear Experts,

Greetings.

In NWDS 7.1.1, I have created a webdynpro component and I'm accessing the same in VC perspective.

My requirement is that I need to pass value from the WD component to the VC.

Eg., I have a tree structure in my WD component and based on the user selection I need to display corresponding reports in VC.

Please suggest me how to pass values from WD to VC
