We have several batch jobs that run under a dailog user account

How can i change the account that the batch jobs runs under

What must the status of the job be to be able to edit it

I found that if the status is released in sm37 then it allows me to edit the step

you can edit the job in scheduled,ready and released status,just save the job after you change the job and it will be ok

I go to the batch job in sm37

then view the job and view the step

but cant change the user

if i select the step and go to step on the menu bar the change item is graded out

I have Sap_all

when you open the job,just go to edit mode,then only you will be able to change the job

there is an option in the menu for changing the job

open the batch job that you want to change,go to the step and just change the owner of the step to the one which you want

This will solve you problem
