Dashboard not appearing in powerpoint and word

Hi all, I recently started using XCelcius 2008 and I was testing it out by creating a simple dashboard. When I export the dashboard to powerpoint or word, it appeared alright. But after i saved the file in another folder and try to open the ppt/word doc from there, the dashboard doesn't appear at all.

May I know if there is a solution for this problem already?

Hi,

Try the slide show on the power point presentation and see if it works for you.

Thanks all! I've found the solution to my problem. The problem is that, I've been saving my work in .pptx format and XCelsius 2008 doesn't seem to support the dashboards in office 2007. So all I did was to save my work in 2003 format!

I was able to recreate your problem.

For a ppt, when I viewed as Slide Show, I got an Security Alert - ActiveX warning and a choice to enable content. When I did that, I saw the slide.

I have tried your methods already, but it still can't work. Anybody else having similar problems please post here, and those who have solved it, please share the solution as I need to solve this asap.

Hi,

Please confirm if you have installed SP1 for Xcelsius 2008.

Also check with the version of flash player installed on the machine. Make sure you have updated version of flash player 9.
