Marketing Cloud Landing page standard integration not working

Hi,

I am trying to deploy for landing page created by hybris marketing cloud to a web server. I do following the integration guide 1805 to modify the JS file with the URL of the SAP Cloud platform Data Center.

Upon the form filled and submit, I always get response {"MaintenanceMode":true} from the Data Center and no data is written into my marketing cloud.

It is some more steps needed to do related to "maintenance mode"? Is it something else I need to enable in the SAP cloud platform for the landing page to work?

Thanks,

Philip

Below are the integration guide I followed:

Hi steffens ,

Thanks for your feedback. So the above scenario is not applicable for SAP Commerce integration as well? Suppose I have a landing page resides on the SAP commerce web server. The user wants to unsubscribe to some communication preferences. Does he has to enter the email address as an input field to identify the record in the marketing system?

I would say that there will be some development on commerce side to prefill the email address on the landing page if the user is logged in. It will make more sense then..

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks,

Mayank

Hi mitmayank_bluleader,

Yes, the user or a custom script will have to enter the email address to identify the contact. In case of shared email addresses, it makes sense to enter the first and last name as well.

Kind regards,

steffens : Thanks the standard integration is working. I have another question.

Consider we have done standard integration for Landing Page. Now the landing page is hosted on commerce web server. When the customer logged in to website and wants to unsubscribe to email and sms, does we need to have the field of email and sms to enter for the customer. I believe the system should automatically fetch the commerce origin id of the customer and unsubscribe to email or sms or any subscription using result odata service without user entering the email or mobile no on the landing page?

Does the above scenario is applicable for standard integration?

Thanks,

Mayank

Hi mitmayank_bluleader,

There is currently no possibility to pass such identification details from an external system to the SAP Marketing Cloud system. The only option is to use the identification via an outbound ID. (Such outbound ID could be created manually by creating an EMAIL_OUTBOUND interaction.)

Kind regards,
Steffen

Hi Philip,

It seems like the standard integration does not work properly for your specific system.
Could you please raise an incident for this issue? We will take a look at the problem.

steffens : Can you please confirm if the Communication arrangement needs to be created if we are following the standard integration for landing page? I believe yes, but the help document says this part in custom integration.

Please assist.

Hi mitmayank_bluleader,

There are two different integration options:

- The Custom Integration includes creating a communication arrangement and forwarding the HTTP requests using your own server

- The Standard Integration is enabled out-of-the-box so that you do NOT need to create a communication arrangement

Kind regards,
Steffen

We have followed the steps mentioned in the help document ->

https://help.sap.com/viewer/0f9408e4921e4ba3bb4a7a1f75f837a7/1811.500/en-US/d22b2eba24794e08b8d3c43a...

What we have done so far:

1. Created a Landing page.

Provided the files( css/html/JS) to the web developer. They have uploaded the file on the server and made the changes as mentioned in the help document.

When i click on the website containing the landing page, and enter the email address and click on submit, the response didn't flown to marketing.

Can you please let me know what can be the missing part. With the help document, it seems to be the easy setup.

Hi mitmayank_bluleader,

If the steps have been performed correctly, it should work, yes. Unfortunately, it's tough to analyze without being able to check the landing page.

Could you please provide an URL for the uploaded landing page or better open an incident for this case?

Kind regards,
Steffen
