Message processor is not a business partner

Hi,

I need to create business partner for A and A is also a message processor.

Below is the step on that i've done.

1. Create business partner using tcode bp for a. Create as business partner general. Assigned identification based on satelitte system.save.

2. Extend employee to business partner a.save

But when i assign A to message processor, i've got error said that User A (message procesor) is not a business partner.

Kindly assist me on which step that i've done wrong.

Hi,

For all the BP as a message processor you need to have the EMPLOYEE role also

1. Go back to BP and choose the BP of the message processor in change mode

2. Choose the role from dropdown(where currently the General role is shown)..choose EMPLOYEE

3. goto identification and here assign userid for the message processor.
